Call for Paper
Maltepe FEF, biannually published, refereed academic journal of Humanities and Social Sciences of Maltepe University is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Maltepe University with a special issue. Listed in international databases, Philosopher’s Index and EBSCOHost, as well as TUBITAK-Ulakbim national database, our journal’s 20th Anniversary special issue is seeking contributions from topics of interest of major social science branches such as Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology and Social Work, is also open to interdisciplinary studies which are interrelated to those fields of research. Please send your original articles, book and article reviews, tanslations and review articles from dissertations to the following e-mail address: [email protected]tr. The submissions can be written either in English or Turkish. Maltepe Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Journal is an internationally refereed journal of social sciences which is published both as paper-sample and full texts are open to electronic access. The issues are all indexed by Philosopher’s Index and EbscoHOST.

Maltepe University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has decided to publish a special issue including selected papers that are presented in FAS 2013 Congress.

Call for Papers

This special issue stems from the FAS- International Congress that took place at Maltepe University on April 2013 that brought together international students and researchers and to discuss the emergent field of all subtitles concerning gender.

The goal of this issue is to highlight the interconnections between gender theories and cultural practice in fields that are oftenly considered nowadays.


Papers written in English should be 4500-5500 words including an abstract and keywords. The papers will be selected through a blind review process.

Upon the reception of revised abstract or full paper you will be sent the authors guidelines.

The abstract should include the following information: 1) name of the author(s) with email addresses and affiliation if applicable, 2) Title of the paper, 3) Body of the abstract.

All papers are going to be subject to plagiarism checking system and the strict format rules of our journal.
